JUNE/JULY

• TODAY. Forward your professional headshot to JULIE by this date. 300dpi minimum, COLOR, 2″ x 3″ minimum size (do not crop). Your color photo will be used in your customized social media memes and your BW photo will be used in the book. Please only send a color photo; we will convert to BW here. The sooner you get us your photos, the sooner we can get you your social media meme for sharing. Reminder: Only use the social media memes provided, along with your personalized videos. Please DO NOT create nor use any other social media memes.
• FRIDAY, JUNE 13, 2025, NOON. If you have not already connected with your Writing Coach (WC) by this date, please reach out to schedule your initial Zoom call HERE.
• FRIDAY, JUNE 27, 2025, NOON. MEET AND GREET #1 (watch for your calendar invite and info on the FB page)
• FRIDAY, JULY 11, 2025, NOON. INITIAL DRAFT OF YOUR CHAPTER DUE TO WC.
• TUESDAY, JULY 15, NOON: LAST DATE FOR NEW AUTHORS TO JOIN THE BOOK; authors must be ready to turn in their FINAL chapter by Aug 6, 2025
• THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2025, 4:00 PM. PRE-PROMOTION CALL (watch for your calendar invite and info on the FB page). If you have sent us your professional headshot, your social media memes will land in your email inbox late afternoon/early evening. 
• THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2025, 4:00 PM. Start using your “SAVE THE DATE” social media meme AFTER the call.

AUGUST

• FRIDAY, AUGUST 1, 2025. SET UP YOUR LINKTREE ACCOUNT BY this date
  • How to create and set up a Linktree account 
    • New Users can set up a FREE account here: https://linktr.ee
    • You may also download the FREE APP onto your phone and set up your account that way, also.
    • Follow the prompts and add your contact info (email, website, preferred social media, special offers, etc.) NOTE OF CAUTION: You may want to include a business phone number, but we do not recommend you add your personal cell phone number.
    • Your bio does not go into LinkTree. Only your contact info.
    • HANDY NOTE: You can rearrange the order of your contact info by clicking and dragging the tiny dots on the left of each contact bar.
    • Once you save your info, it will give you your very own LinkTree link.
    • Just to the left of your photo (or big circle with your initial / top right) is a “share” button
    • Click the SHARE button and you get a drop-down box
    • Third option down says “My LinkTree Code”
    • Click that option and download the PNG of your QR code
    • Send the PNG file to JULIE
• FRIDAY, AUGUST 8, 2025. NOON. The FINAL draft of your chapter AND BIO are due to your Writing Coach by this date (1500 to 2,000-word chapter (+/- 10%) AND your FINAL, Author-Approved 150-word bio, including your LinkTree link). THE DCP team will proofread your chapter for grammar, punctuation, and flow.
• FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 2025. The Writing Coach submits all final chapters with bio to DCP by this date. THE DCP team will proofread your chapter for grammar, punctuation, and flow.
• MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2025. Authors will receive a PDF of their chapter in layout format by this date
• THURSDAY, AUGUST 28, 2025. NOON. MEET AND GREET #2 (watch for your calendar invite and info on the FB page)
• FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, 2025. NOON Last date to submit ALL Resource Listing content

SEPTEMBER

• FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2025. NOON  Authors must return any final corrections (NO WORDSMITHING OR REWRITING – ERRORS ONLY)  to Julie by this date via Sticky Notes in Acrobat PDF. Any chapters not received by this date will be considered approved and will be prepared for publishing.
• SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025 RADIO SILENCE BEGINS. NO POSTING, NO RESPONDING, NO COMMENTING, NO VIDEOS – NO SPEAKING OR ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BOOK THROUGH WEDNESDAY 10/1, EARLY MORNING until @7AM YOUR TIME ZONE. 
• THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025, 4:00 PM.  PRE-LAUNCH CALL (watch for your calendar invite and info on the FB page). 
• TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30: “TODAY’S THE DAY” social media memes will land in your email inbox late afternoon/early evening. PLEASE WAIT TO POST UNTIL AFTER 7 am (your time zone) on Launch Day.
• CONGRATS memes sent to authors, post-launch

OCTOBER

• WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1: Prepare your e-news copy and set up distribution for early WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1.
• WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 9:30 AM: DAY OF LAUNCH CALL. (watch for your calendar invite and info on the FB page)
• WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1: DAY OF LAUNCH: E-BOOK GOES LIVE!
  • Your commitment to participating in helping promote the book via social media and your e-news/contact list ensures the success of this launch.
  • Share your personalized “TODAY’S THE DAY” memes (provided) for visibility on social media; tagging, liking, loving, and all that social media interaction throughout the day.
  • REMINDER: Please DO NOT create your own graphic images until AFTER the Celebration Call on 09/12/2025.
• THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2: Amazon Ranking is announced throughout the day in FB group, then social media,
• THURSDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 2: The covers are updated with the Amazon Best Seller Badge, loaded into the Facebook group, and the ebook is updated on Amazon. The paperback goes live within a few weeks after the launch.FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26:  All paperback book orders must be submitted to DEBI. 
  • INFO EMAIL about how to order and the Author Pricing will be sent in advance of this date. 
  • Authors will place all future book orders (post-launch) through E&G. Be watching for additional info. 
  • ALL paperback book orders will be placed AFTER the book launch so we can add the Amazon Bestseller Ribbon to the cover. 
  • Expect shipment within 2-3 weeks of launch, depending upon the quantity ordered.
